Duy Trinh Silk Making Village

Location: Duy Trinh Village is located in Dong Yen - Thi Lai Village, Duy Trinh Commune, Duy Xuyen District, Quang Nam Province.

Characteristics: This village is famous for growing mulberry, breeding silkworms, making silkcords and weaving silk. It is believed that in nowhere else is the silk as fine as it is here.

In its silk-making history, in its most prosperous period, the silk growing area was as much as 160 hectares and there were as many as 200 households engaged in this trade. Visiting this village, visitors will have the opportunities to see with their own eyes different stages in the production of these famous silk products.
