Begin your adventure with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Cat Ba Town. Drive along the main road through the romantic island, taking in the scenic views on the way to Cat Ba National Park.
Arrive at the park entrance and embark on an invigorating trek. Walk around 1.5 kilometers into the forest, climbing hundreds of stone steps and forest trails to reach Ngu Lam Peak. From the peak, admire the majestic beauty of the virgin forest on the island. Listen to the symphony of the mountain: birds singing, the sound of insects, and the calls of animals such as mink, squirrels, monkeys, and birds.
Next, head down the hills and make your way to Trung Trang Cave, a natural limestone cave with many stalactites and stalagmites. Hear the sound of tiny drops of water flowing and dripping down from the stalactites on the ceiling as you walk through the 300-meter-long cave. This is the largest natural cave on Cat Ba Island, located in the Cat Ba National Park complex.
After exploring Trung Trang Cave, continue to Quan Y Cave, also known as Military Hospital Cave. This cave is a miniature hospital in the heart of the mountain, built during the war from 1963 to 1965. Discover the special structure of the coastal limestone mountain system and learn about the extraordinary creativity and fighting power of humans during the war.
Pick up by bus at your hotel in Cat Ba town's centrer, driving along main road through the romantic island ( around 20 minutes a way )
Arrive at the National Park entrance and embark on an invigorating trek. Get off the bus then walk around 1.5 kilometer in to the forest . Climb up hundres stone steps and forest trail to the Ngu Lam Peak . Where you can see the majestic beauty of the Virgin forest on the island ( Up and down to Ngu Lam peak in 2 hours ). In the forest you will hear the symphony of the mountain : birds singing , the sound of insects , the call of animals such as : mink , squirrels , monkeys , birds.
